Facility Rental

The Library has several designated rooms for quiet study on the second floor, suitable for either individuals or small groups. These rooms may be reserved at least one day in advance, by phone (561-266-0196) or in person at the Reference desk. Standby Reservations for same day may be made by walk-in patrons, for the next available quiet study room.

A Delray Beach Public Library card in good standing is required in order to reserve the quiet study rooms. The quiet study rooms are to be used for studying purposes only and may not be used by individuals or groups for business purposes.

Meeting Room Policy & Rates

The Delray Beach Public Library (the Library) welcomes the use of its meeting rooms by responsible organizations and groups. A major goal of the Library is to meet the informational, cultural, educational, civic and recreational needs of its community. Programs of educational, cultural or recreational interest which compliment or promote the Library’s aims are encouraged.


The Delray Beach Public Library’s meeting rooms are NOT available for:

    • Events scheduled after hours
    • Events of a primarily personal, political or fund-raising nature
    • Events where the organization is planning to:
    • charge admission fees
    • make collections
    • seek contributions
    • give door prizes
    • have auctions or raffles
    • Events that promote commercial enterprises or products
    • Events for partisan political, sectarian, or similar purposes
    • Long-term rentals, extended curricula or programming

Request a Meeting Room

To request a meeting room at the Main Library, please complete the application form below. Please be as descriptive as possible in filling out the form’s fields to help ensure that your request can be fulfilled.

Due to high demand for meeting spaces, please submit applications at least three weeks prior to your first scheduled event. Please allow at least one to three business days to process your application. Inquiries regarding space availability made Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm through at (561) 266-0799.
