Delray Beach Public Library reference librarians are available by chat and email during the library’s operating hours, Monday through Wednesday from 9am to 8pm, Thursday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday (September – May) from 1pm to 5pm.

Statewide librarians are available Monday through Thursday from 10am to midnight, and Friday & Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Gale Courses offers access to hundreds of online courses for professional development, career preparation, entrepreneurship, and personal enrichment. Classes are led by highly-credentialed industry professionals in an interactive setting. Each course is completed over a six-week period, with new sessions starting every month.

A joint project with the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Florida Atlantic University Research Division, the Small Business Development Center satellite office is located on the 2nd floor of the Library.

Since 1976 the Florida Small Business Development Center Network has provided consulting to thousands of entrepreneurs in the state of Florida through a network of 40 offices from Pensacola to Key West. The newest office is located in the Delray Beach Public Library to serve the needs of Delray’s growing small business community. Whether you are an existing business or considering launching a new endeavor, a few of the many services provided include guidance on market research and expansion, business plan development, financial analysis and feasibility assessment. Consultation is a no-cost service paid for by your local, state and federal tax dollars.
