The Delray Beach Public Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is an essential resource offering a wide range of services to meet the various needs of the community.

Did you know? The Delray Beach Public Library…
- has as a physical collection of more than 136,000 items in the library and more than one million digital and streaming resources (books, movies, audiobooks, magazines and databases).
- hosts about 2,000 educational, entertaining and engaging programs that typically attract more than 18,000 people in an average year.
- engages area youth with innovative STREAM programs, exploring topics ranging from drones and robotics to space exploration. In an average year, trained staff in our Children’s Department put together 400+ programs that serve 9,500 children.
- has as a dedicated Teen Librarian, responsible for some 200 programs annually, and a newly renovated teen space equipped with comfortable seating and vital technology that gives about 2,500 kids a safe and productive place to call their own.
