John Oliveira String Competition Winner Recital

World renowned violinist Elmar Oliveira established the John Oliveira String Competition in 2015 in memory of his brother John, a violinist who was in the Houston Symphony Orchestra. This string competition is held annually at the Lynn Conservatory of Music and is open to all current string players and pianists. The winners receive a cash prize, a recital at the Lynn Conservatory, as well as numerous other recitals in the community. The judges are all well known and respected string players who are performers and faculty members at Conservatories and Music Schools from all across America.

This string competition winner will be announced on the evening of April 20th with the winner performing a recital at the Delray Beach Public Library auditorium On April 29th @ 6:00 PM.
