The Delray Beach Public Library is a 501 c3 non-profit organization that serves as an essential community resource offering a wide range of services to meet the various needs of the community.

Did you know that the Delray Beach Public Library…

  • Brings the library to neighborhood schools and community centers with outreach programs.
  • Is the only library in the state of Florida that provides a Lifelong Learning Institute.
  • Provides over 4,000 free books to children during summer reading programs.
  • Offers meeting rooms (both large and small) for studying, lectures, programs and rentals.
  • Offers innovative after school clubs exploring topics such as 3D printing, robotics, and space exploration.
  • Offers a state-of-the-art recording studio for patrons to record songs, produce podcasts, and narrate books.
  • Provides access to help with résumé writing, job searching, and public assistance programs.
  • Provides a variety of technology resources for children, including computers with educational programs, tablet kiosks, tech lab, and an interactive motion-sensing “cube” projector.
  • Provides dedicated librarians who support local businesses with information, research, and referrals.
