Summer Reading is Here!
June 3rd – August 5th

The Summer Leadership Academy provides an innovative and socially aware reading and hands-on programming initiative with a mission to encourage educational growth and leadership skills.  The reading aspect of the SLA program provides children the opportunity to read a book during each of the 9 weeks of the program. Books have been selected for each age group and are based on 9 Summer Leadership Academy themes. They are:

1. Caring

2. Respect

3. Trustworthiness

4. Confidence

5. Responsibility

6. Citizenship

7. Cooperation

8. Fairness

9. Determination

Click the buttons below to register for either the Children’s Summer Leadership Academy or the Teen Summer Leadership Academy. Then come to the library to pick up the first book. Complete the reading log each week to learn, discuss each theme and earn prizes!
