Get a Card!
Unlock a world of exciting opportunities and intriguing possibilities with your very own library card!
Are you ready to put the unbelievable power of a library card in your pocket? Applying for a card is easy!
Just stop by the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the Delray Beach Public Library and ask for an application (or you can save time by printing an application and filling it out in advance). There is no charge for Delray residents! All you need is a Florida driver’s license in good standing with a Florida address AND a clear account with any other libraries in Palm Beach County.
If you don’t have a Florida driver’s license, don’t worry. If you live in Delray Beach, you can still get a free card. You’ll just need to provide a photo ID (such as a driver’s license from another state or a Florida ID) as well as proof of residency. Any official document showing your name and address in Delray, such as a lease agreement, utility bill, credit card statement or an official piece of mail, will work.
