All baby, toddler and pre-K classes develop early literacy and school readiness skills and model fun and interactive methods for parents to repeat at home. Classes will resume when the Library re-opens.

Oh, Baby

Introduce your baby to books, music, lap bounces and parachute play to bolster adult-child interaction, body awareness, language development, and print awareness. Program ends with bubble play and adult socializing time.


Toddler Tales & Tunes

Enjoy developmentally-appropriate stories, puppets, finger plays, music and movement that bolsters phonological awareness, expands language, social skills and increases early motor coordination in toddlers. Program ends with bubble play and adult socializing time.


“A” is for Alphabet Art

Children explore a different letter each week with an alphabet-related items, a craft, letter tracings, sign language and fun songs and movement for each letter. This creative program helps build letter knowledge and strengthen fine and gross motor skills.


Pajama Storytime

Join us as we share songs, stories, rhymes and fun while we countdown to bedtime. Wear your pajamas and feel free to bring your favorite snuggly friend.


Celebrate peace, justice, and inclusion with words and songs that motivate, encourage and comfort people. Let’s model and instill a welcoming “woke” consciousness in our young to alert them to the joy of diversity, harmony, and freedom from injustice as inspired by Dr. King and other activists past and present. Families can enjoy a related take-home craft following story time.


Family Stories & Tech Time

Our family story time is chock full of books and activities to promote language, literacy, imagination and book joy! Children and their adult chaperones are encouraged to actively engage with the stories, enjoy a S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science/Technology/Reading/Engineering/Art/Math) theme activity and borrow books and/or STEM toys following the program.
