In addition to events, books, and online resources available at the library, Delray Beach Public Library also partners with local agencies to provide free community support services. Legal, medical, housing, and other services are available.

Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County

Representatives are available to meet with you on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 9 am to 12 noon in Room 216 on the second floor of the library. 

Appointments suggested; Walk-ins welcome.

Mobile Health Clinic

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s technologically advanced Mobile Health Clinic provides medical and behavioral health services to the chronically homeless and other underserved adult patients in our community, with or without insurance. The Mobile Health Clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health plans. Patients without health insurance pay on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income and are served regardless of their ability to pay.

Services provided include:

  • Primary medical care
  • General and preventive dentistry
  • Behavioral health
  • Pharmacy

The Mobile Health Clinic is available in the library parking lot on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month from 9 am to 4 pm.

Scheduled and walk-in appointments are available.

Family Promise of South Palm Beach County

Provides housing assistance as well as help with acquiring other social services benefits for children and families who have become temporarily homeless.

Counselors from Family Promise meet with clients, by appointment only, every Wednesday from 9 am to 12 noon in Room 216 on the second floor of the library.
