It’s SEW Fun! Basics
Learn basic sewing machine skills and techniques in a fun, supportive environment. Create a simple project. Some materials are provided, but you can bring your own. (No knits/stretchy materials). Parent/Child registrations welcome (ages 9-17 with parent/guardian). See supplies list. No knits/stretchy materials.
Saturdays, February 28 | March 7, 21 & 28 @10-12PM
Prerequisite: None
This program will introduce you to the essentials of sewing. You’ll learn:
- The basics of using a sewing machine
- Fundamental sewing techniques
- How to create a simple project
Enjoy a fun and supportive environment as you develop your sewing skills. Some materials will be provided; please refer to the supplies list below for additional items you may need to bring.
Parent/Child registrations are welcome! Children ages 9-17 must register and attend with a parent/guardian. Unfortunately, children under 9 cannot register or attend.
Join us for a creative and enjoyable sewing experience!
Supplies List:
- Your own fabrics if what we have available is not enough or not to your liking. No knits/stretchy materials.
- Your own thread to match your projects.
