The threat of decapitation looms large in these operas. How are death scenes brought to life on stage? Join Palm Beach Opera as we watch clips from Dialogues des Carmelites, Turandot, and The Mikado. Learn interesting facts about each work and the challenges facing stage directors. 

American Operas: Stories from the Frontier 
Sunday, May 10 @2-3PM 
See how composers combined European operatic tradition with American culture to represent the Wild West. Join Palm Beach Opera for an exploration of operas such as The Ballad of Baby Doe, La Fanciulla del West, The Tenderland, and Susannah.
