Marine Life Interaction and First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
One reason many people love to visit the ocean is to observe and interact with marine life; however, such marine life interaction is the same reason why some people are afraid to enter the water. Fortunately, injuries caused by hazardous marine life are rare. Learn how to properly interact with marine life and examples of first aid for hazardous marine life injuries.

Tuesday, May 5 @2-3PM
Marine Plants Identification – Seagrass, Mangroves, and SAV
Learn how to identify local marine plants commonly found in Florida’s coastal habitats. Scientists will show examples of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV), seagrass, and mangrove habitats occurring in our local waters and how these habitats provide critical habitat for various species of fish and invertebrates.
