Build a Better World Reading Program

Build a Better World Reading Program

Build a Better World (BABW) at the Delray Beach Public Library this summer!

The Collaborative Summer Library Program provides a new and exciting theme every year for reading across the nation. Whether you visit your Delray library or go on an exciting vacation, readers of all ages will enjoy a unified theme for lively discussions and topic exploration!

For adults, you can participate in our BABW Reading Challenge.  By reviewing your favorite summer reads, you may be published on our website and be entered into a raffle to win fabulous prizes.  Each review enters you into a raffle drawing to win prizes from your favorite local restaurants and cultural attractions. There are no limits on how many reviews you can submit.

To submit a review, you must meet the following criteria

    • Tell us how it helps “build a better world”
    • Why someone should read this book
    • Be a maximum of 300 words
    • On a book currently in the Delray Library’s catalog. Don’t see the book you want to review? Use the Suggest a Book for Purchase at the bottom of the Adult section and leave a note saying it’s for BABW!
    • Have an active library card
    • Reviews must be submitted between June 5th and August 18th  (deadline extended!)

Looking for extra entries?  Join our Afternoon Book Group on June 26th at 1pm to discuss the book House on the Edge of the Night by Catherine Banner and receive one bonus entry!
