23 May Appy Hours@DBPL
As the COVID-19 pandemic weighs heavily on our communities, we are thinking of our library friends and developing creative ways to bring library services to you.
The Tech Academy Staff are delivering online Appy Hours via a Library Facebook Group and we hope you can join us here to learn more about some very relevant apps that may help you during this time of Social Distancing.
These Online Appy Hours are created by your friendly library staff and posted to the group every week. You can view them at your leisure and also participate on a live Facebook Group discussion with the Library Staff on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-pm! We will be monitoring the group so you can ask questions at any time!
Other ways to stay connected with us: You can like our Facebook Page, subscribe to our YouTube Channel and GoodReads page, follow us on Instagram and Twitter. You can also join our e-newsletter by visiting www.delraylibrary.org and get advanced notice of online programs during this time.
Join us for an encore of Appy Hours on our public Facebook group Appy Hour @ Delray Beach Public Library where we will show you how to use apps for everyday living, dining, and entertainment. This summer we introduce the Internet of Things with Smart Homes, featuring Alexa.
Not just for computers anymore! Today more than ever people are relying on their smartphones and tablets to keep them connected. The Delray Beach Public Library offers classes to keep you up to speed in the constantly changing world of technology. We offer a variety of classes on mobile applications that range from photos, password managers, to streaming content and much, much more! The Library also offers one-on-one assistance to clarify topics after classes are completed.
