Sunday Musical Matinee Series - 2012 Returns to the Delray Beach Public Library
The Delray Beach Public Library, 100 West Atlantic Avenue, is pleased to announce the return of its highly successful Sunday Musical Matinee Series. Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor the Library will once again feature a stellar line-up of talent. You can enjoy wonderful musical programs and help support the Library at the same time.
A "subscription" to this series is available at $45 per person for all four performances. All tickets can be purchased at the Library Circulation Desk or by using the PayPal button below. Tickets for individual shows are available for $15 per person. The 2012 season offers a wide variety of music appealing to all ages. It is the best deal in town!

Musical Program #1 - Sunday, January 15, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m. Back by popular demand, we kick-off our Sunday Musical Matinee Series with award-winning jazz duo Davis & Dow. This duo tackles jazz and pop standards with a daring and playful style. Julie Davis is a balladeer and Kelly Dow is a world-class guitarist. You will find their arrangements both unique & inventive.
Musical Program #2 - Sunday, February 19, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m. Back by popular demand, The Norm Kubrin Trio will feature piano, vocals, bass and drums. As a special treat Mr. Kubrin will present vocalist Lisa Remick. Their love of the music of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and others will delight the audience.
Musical Program #3 - Sunday, March 11, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m. Spend an afternoon in Brazil with the exciting music of Phill Fest & Terezinha Valois. This wonderful duo will perform Brazilian jazz, bossa nova and popular songs. Both have performed nationally and internationally and their sound is sultry and unique.
Musical Program #4 - Sunday, April 1, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m. Last but not least, you will be entertained by Wayne Hosford, an award-winning and critically acclaimed entertainer, singer, musician, comedian and composer. In addition to his original songs he has a vast repertoire that spans Broadway, contemporary and American popular music from the 1960's to today.
