Proctoring Policy
- Availability
Proctoring is available during the library's normal operating hours and when assigned Proctors are working.
Schedules for examination will be determined on individual basis, once proctor agreement has been completed and
test received.
- Proctor Agreement
For most schools/institutions/accreditors, a Proctor Agreement is the necessary contract between the proctor
and the institution, affirming the student's name and the willingness of the proctor to facilitate his/her exam.
It is the responsibility of the student to validate the Proctor Agreement with the librarian who will be proctoring
the examination. This agreement can be formal, as in a document, or it can be verbal (between the student and exam
requirer) depending upon the schools/institutions/accreditors policies.
- Facility Availability
The Delray Beach Public Library is fully equipped to meet the proctoring needs of individuals, including print
and online examinations. Private study rooms are available for print examinations and our Technology Center is
equipped to administer online examinations. All facilities are subject to availability.
- Proctoring Fee
Exam proctoring fees are $15.00 per proctoring session. The Delray Beach Public Library will supply pens,
pencils, scrap paper, mailing materials, and postage as part of your proctoring fee.
