Delray Beach Public Library

The Delray Beach Public Library, 100 West Atlantic Avenue is pleased to announce that the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce has voted them the 2011-2012 Non-Profit of the Year recently at the Luminary Gala at the Delray Beach Marriott.

Libraries are essential to our economic prosperity, neighborhood vitality, and future. It is often said that the public library is the living room of the community and the Delray Beach Public Library has that warm and welcoming environment. We have offered traditional library services such as quiet places to study, collections of books, a variety of programs for people of all ages and a knowledgeable staff in Delray Beach since 1913 when founded by the Ladies Improvement Association.

The Delray Beach Public Library was voted Non-profit of the Year because we strive to inform, enrich, and empower every person in our community. The Delray Beach Public Library serves as a key cultural, educational, and resource center for Delray Beach and surrounding communities.
