On Friday, February 3, 2012 the Delray Beach Public Library will once again host the unusual and exciting Laugh with the Library, Chapter 6 event at the Delray Beach Marriott (Doors open at 7:30pm and showtime is at 9:00pm). Delray Beach residents and Library Board members Becky Walsh & Heidi Sargeant will serve as co-chairpersons for this creative and casual fun-filled night of comedy, cocktails, and supper by the bite. This year the evening will feature the non-stop comedy of nationally-known, stand-up comedian Sebastian. All monies raised at this fun-filled evening will be used to enhance programs and materials for children and teens. Last years' event raised more than $40,000 for the Library. A native of Chicago, IL, Sebastian Maniscalco grew up with comedy in his blood. After earning a degree in Corporate Organizational Communications from Northern Illinois University, he soon realized his passion for stand-up comedy and moved out to Los Angeles. With a combination of a steadfast work ethic and impeccable comedic timing, Sebastian has risen through the ranks to become one of the most respected entertainers in the stand-up community today. No stranger to television, Sebastian catapulted into the national spotlight with a 20-city tour for his one-hour Comedy Central DVD Special Sebastian Live!
