Fall Computer Class Schedule 2011 - September and October
Computer Classes Taught in the Technology Center by a Reference Librarian PRIOR REGISTRATION AND LIBRARY CARD IS REQUIRED
Beginning Computers- (Prerequisite: Ability to use a mouse) Computer novices of all ages will learn the very basics of how to work a computer.
Internet- (Prerequisites: Ability to use a mouse, general computer and internet knowledge) Do you wonder what the internet is or how it works? Learn how to stay informed, connected, and entertained.
Email- (Prerequisites: Ability to use a mouse, general computer and internet knowledge) Stay connected with your loved ones and colleagues! Our experienced Reference Librarians will teach you how to send/receive email, add attachments, and organize your messages.
File Management - (Prerequisites: Ability to use a mouse and general computer knowledge) Learn how to treat your computer like a real filing cabinet. This class will teach you tricks on how to keep your electronic documents organized and easily accessible.
Facebook - (Prerequisites: Ability to use a mouse, general computer knowledge and an active Facbook account, username and password . Patrons who do not meet these prerequisites will be allowed to "audit" the class without hands-on activities. ) Online social networking has become a daily part of life for individuals and businesses.
