"A World of Music " at The Library Musical Series!

The Delray Beach Public Library has selected some exciting musical performances for the upcoming "A World of Music @ the Library Musical Series" (formerly known as the Sunday Musical Matinee Series) beginning on Thursday, January 31, 2008 @ 6:30 p.m. with a "special" Opening Night Reception!

We want to give our Library Association members the first opportunity to attend this wonderful mix of musical programs from around the world. Thanks, once again to the generous sponsorship of this program by Greta Lucas and Rachel Speicher, all of the money from ticket sales goes directly back to the Delray Beach Public Library.

This year our members will have the first opportunity to subscribe to "A World of Music @ the Library Musical Series." For a minimum donation of $50 per person plus your current Library membership you may reserve your place for all four delightful performances @ 100 West Atlantic Avenue. We believe it is still the best bargain in town and we are once again asking for your generous support!

• Musical Program #1 - Thursday, January 31, 2008 @ 6:30 p.m. Join us as we kick-off our series with Anselmo Vidal, Jr. and his 15 piece Orquesta Nostalgia for an evening of Big-Band Latin Music from the 50's and 60's.
  
  
• Musical Program #2 - Sunday, February 24, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m. Join outstanding classical pianist Fedora Horowitz and flutist Geanne Parrant for an afternoon of classical music with a French accent.
  
  
• Musical Program #3 - Sunday, March 16, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m. Join world renowned guitar virtuoso and composer Anton Del Forno for music from around the world.
  
  
• Musical Program #4 - Sunday, April 13, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m. Join baritone Ed Pierson & pianist Roger Rundle for "Scene on Broadway" singing songs from Broadway classics.

All you have to do is bring this letter to the Library Circulation Desk and pick up your four tickets for the season with a donation of $50 per person plus your Library membership. Individual tickets will be $15 per person so hurry and save by getting your subscription early. We know you will enjoy these Musical Programs and we thank you once again, for your generous support.
